Acnecide Face Gel is an effective leave on treatment for mild acne of the face. Contains the active ingredient benzoyl peroxide which effectively kills up to 95% of bacteria causing spots. In addition, it contains microsphere technology which helps absorb excess oil while releasing glycerine to hydrate the skin.

Acnecide Face Gel is indicated for the treatment of mild acne. Contains 5% benzoyl peroxide. Always read the label.
Suitable for
Acnecide Face Gel 5% is suitable if:
• You are over the age of 12 years
• You have mild acne on the face
Mild acne appears as predominately blackheads and whiteheads and there are few or no spots and pimples and no inflamed spots.

How to use
Use Acnecide Face Gel after washing with a mild cleanser and water:
1. Dry your face.
2. Apply the face gel to the affected area in a thin layer, avoiding sensitive areas such as the eyes, mouth, inside of the nose, and neck.
3. Wash hands thoroughly after applying the gel.
4. Repeat these steps once or twice daily as required.

Skin should always be moisturised following cleansing and after applying any treatments as some products can cause dryness and redness on affected skin.

When using Acnecide Benzoyl Peroxide treatments for the first time, or after a long break, it is important to read the instructions for use. You will need to build up usage carefully, starting with once-a-day application in the evening for the first few days. If your skin tolerates this, you can step up to twice daily application morning and evening.
