Product details

The Ovulation Test Kit is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative determination of Luteinizing Hormone (LH) in urine for detection of ovulation.

How to use

Collect a urine sample in a clean dry container. Open the sealed pouch and remove the strip. Put the test strip vertically into the urine sample
making sure that the arrows are pointing down. Do not allow the urine level to go above the max line marked on the strip. Leave the test strip in the urine sample for 10 seconds.

Take the strip out and lay it flat. For the first few seconds after wetting you should see the liquid moving up the test area causing it to go light purple. As the purple fades the control line will appear as a strong line and the result line will if present appear below this. Read the results within 10 minutes of doing the test. Perform 1 test at approximately the same time each day over a 5 day period or until the LH surge has been detected.

Hazards and Cautions

1. For in vitro diagnostic use only (NOT for internal use).
2. Do not use beyond the expiry date marked on the foil pouch.
3. Each Ovulation Test Strip can only be used once; do not re-use the Ovulation Test Strip.
4. Do not use the Ovulation Test Strip if the foil pouch is damaged.
5. Once the foil pouch has been opened, the Ovulation Test Strip should be used straight away.
6. The silica gel sachet (desiccant) may be a choking hazard for children and small pets. Ensure that you dispose of this with your normal household waste straight after use.
7. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
8. Do not freeze.
