Boots Soft Silicone Ear Plugs are designed to cover the ear opening and help reduce harmful or irritating noise. They are ideal for use when sleeping, working, travelling or swimming.
How to use
Directions for use:
1. Ensure your hands are clean and dry prior to touching the ear plug.
2. Remove the ear plug from the container and shape into a ball.
3. Make sure the are around the ear opening is clear and dry.
4. Gently place the ear plug over the opening to the ear and gently flatten to form a closed seal.
5. DO NOT push the ear plug into the ear canal as it may be difficult to remove if pushed into the ear.
6. To remove the ear plug, gently press forward behind the ear and then repeat the sequence pulling down on the ear lobe. Continue this sequence until the seal is broken and then proceed to pull the ear plug away from the ear opening.
Usage recommendations:
Earplugs should be fitted, adjustred and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. Proper fit of these earplugs is required for effective use.
Earplugs should be worn at all times in noisy surroundings.
Earplugs should be regularly inspected for dirt and damage.
Earplugs should be stored in the plastic case between each use.
Use whole plug. Do not split into smaller pieces. Small plugs can become lodged in the ear canal causing harm to the ear.
Hazards and Cautions
Caution:
Do not use dirty or damaged ear plugs.
Keep away from infants and small children as the ear plugs are a choking hazard.
Discard if the ear plugs show any signs of damage, wear or tear - recommended use per ear plug is 3 times.
If the ear plug comes into contact with loose hair, soak the affected hair with a hot cloth and the ear plug will loosen.
If the ear plug becomes stuck in the ear canal DO NOT attempt to remove it, seek immediate medical assistance.
Not recommended for scuba diving depths of greater than 10 feet.
Warnings:
If recommendations are not adhered to, protection offered by the earplugs may be severely impaired and result in permanent hearing damage.
