KELO-COTE® UV with SPF30 is an advanced formula silicone gel specifically developed to help protect scars against the effects of the sun. And that’s important because regardless of your skin colour, scars don’t contain melanin – the pigment that protects your skin from UV radiation. So if they’re left exposed to the sun, scars can experience sun-induced redness and hyper-pigmentation.

Kelo-Cote UV is intended for the treatment and prevention of hypertrophic and keloid scars resulting from burns, general surgical procedures and trauma wounds.

How to use

- For new scars start treatment as soon as wound is closed or stitches removed. Ensure that the affected area is clean and dry.

- Apply a very thin layer of KELO‐COTE® onto the scar twice a day, do not rub in.

- Self-dries within 5 minutes* forming a flexible, waterproof, transparent layer – remove any excess product if it does not dry completely. Once dry, sunblock and cosmetics can be applied.

- Recommended minimum treatment time is 60-90 days. If improvement still occurs after 90 days, continued use is recommended.

Avoid direct contact with eyes, mucous membranes, third degree burns and open wounds. Kelo-cote should not be used on dermatological conditions that disrupt the integrity of the skin. Kelo-cote may stain clothing if it is not completely dry. For external use only. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician. Keep this product out of the reach of children.
