Celebrate Pride with Boots
Here at Boots, our brilliant Pride Alliance Business Resource Group has been working to raise awareness, breaking down stereotypes & building confidence on LGBTQ+ issues in our business.
We continue to work with Stonewall through its Global Diversity Champions programme. Each year, we benchmark our LGBTQ+ inclusion work through the Stonewall UK Workplace Equality Index & use feedback to understand what best practice looks like, as well as review our progress, & look at opportunities to develop our approach. 2023 marked a series of important anniversaries in the history of Pride & LGBTQ+ rights in Ireland. It was the 40th anniversary of the first Dublin Pride Parade & the 30th anniversary of the decriminalisation of homosexuality in Ireland. During this anniversary year, Boots was proud to announce our exciting partnership with Dublin Pride, with lots of exciting initiatives planned over June & beyond.
As part of our partnership, Boots participated in the Dublin Pride March & Parade on Saturday 24th June. The event is the second largest festival in the country & over 75,000 people participate annually!
