What are sulphates?
There are two different types of sulphates commonly used in shampoos – sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) and sodium laureth sulphate (SLES). They work well to sweep away dirt, oil and product build-up in the hair by creating a luxurious lather that washes hair straight down the plug hole.
